This cross is the basis of the internal space of the temple. The whole structure was supported by four powerful pylons of twenty meters height. Between these giant pillars were placed four apses, the walls of which were semicircular colonnades.
The circular interior was surrounded by a two-story gallery. The second tier of the Church was through on three sides, and its walls were supported by six powerful columns.
The whole composition ended with a high multi-faceted dome, bringing together all the inner space of the temple.
